“Thank you for all you do for young people and the cause of consciousness.  The world needs more like you.”

Edgar Mitchell, 6th Astronaut to walk on the moon, founder of the Institute of Noetic Sciences

I share your passion for young people.  My goal is to bring adult wisdom, skills and devotion to help the future generations thrive in a confusing, ever-changing and often dangerous landscape. Let’s unleash the brilliance of the young onto the problems we’re all facing.

In the classroom, on the front lines, we see the impact of changing family structures, media overload, confused values and overwhelming complexity. I invite you to share your challenges and triumphs, as I have in the Ten Steps. Please go to the Blog and write your thoughts. I look forward to hearing from you.

I wish I had this book twenty years ago.” Lawren Giles, retired teacher.

“Laurie, I got your book, and want to share it with everyone in my district! Very positive truth-speaking, that I needed to remind my cynical self that all is not lost in education.” Diane Wood, High School French Teacher, Mass.

You’re an inspiration to all of us who teach. And I like the emphasis on standards, creativity, and intuition.  I can see some applications in my own teaching I’m anxious to try.” Frank Walters, Associate Professor, Department of English, Auburn University,  Alabama
